Matthew splits his time between Pax Christi and St. Francis in Castle Rock,  we tried to get him into our Council but he decided to Join St. Francis Council.  We hope to get him involved.

My name is Matthew Kane and I was born in Denver on May 21, 1993 and grew up in Littleton, Colorado until I was in my early teens. I moved to Castle Pines with my family and have been there ever since. I first heard God calling me to the Holy Priesthood after I got back from a trip to World Youth Day in Madrid in 2011. It was in the morning and I was outside and suddenly I felt God say to me, “Matthew, you will become a Priest.” It was both exhilarating and simple. Ever since that great day, I have been studying at St. Gregory the Great Seminary in Seward, Nebraska and am entering my second year of Philosophy. God willing, I will be ordained in seven years. I also come from a family of seven, not including myself, and they have been wonderful to me in this process and are blessings from God. Please pray for me on my long, but exciting journey!
